My Little Custom Pony - Thunder Flare

Just a picture I drew up while our class was on a MLP based project, so I decided to put it up and leave some info

Name - Thunder Flare
Pony Type - Alicorn/Kirin
Sex - Male
Eyes - Crimson Red
Mane - Crimson Red
Coat - White with a red tinge along with black markings
Hooves - Deep red, almost black
Magic Aura - Sparking bright red
Cutie Mark - Cloud/Gray, Bolt/Red
Occupation - none due to his constant sleeping
Personality - Lazy and rude yet caring
Wing Power - 765
Special Traits - Able to create and control lightning

Character Bio - Due to being born as a Kirin, Thunder Flare has great physical strength, talent and magical power, however as he grew older, his powers grew as well. His powers grew to the point that simply staying in the same area for less than a day would cause horrible storms that would destroy the land and bring pain to his loved ones. In order to avoid this from happening he left his home to travel the world, constantly wandering to stop the storms from forming. As time went by he became aware that his powers remained active while sleeping and endangered any life near him. Knowing this, he chose to stay awake as long as physically possible. He continued this way of life for years, until he came across Ponyville. Through a series of events with the main cast of MLP, he was placed under guidance of Princess Celestia who taught him how to properly control his powers. After this he decided to stay in Ponyville with his new friends.

Notes - 1. Due to keeping himself awake for such a long period of time, he is constantly seen sleeping. He will fall asleep at nearly any time he deems not important. Although, while sleeping his body is aware of it's surroundings, as a result, many plans to prank him while sleeping have failed due to his body turning into lightning and moving out of the way at the last second.
2. By turning his body into lightning he can reach an unimaginable speed. He can reach even greater speeds through what he calls the "Roaring Thunder", however because of his laziness, he hardly ever does this unless he is showing off.
